The Contract Cleaning Sector refers to the industry where employers and employees engage in cleaning or washing tasks, whether manual or mechanized, encompassing furniture, windows, carpets, doors, floors, tools, machinery, under supervision, at industrial and commercial premises, buildings, and commercially leased flats, as well as any airplanes, trucks, cars, buses, trains, or other vehicles necessitating such cleaning.

Where a specific workplace and/or sector is not regulated in terms of a Sectoral Determination or Collective Bargaining Council Agreement to which the Employer is a party. This Contract is a permanent/indefinite contract of employment.

The Contract Cleaning Sector means the sector in which employers and employees are associated for the purpose of cleaning or washing by hand or machine, of furniture, windows, carpets, doors, floors, tools, machinery, under supervision at industrial and commercial premises, buildings, and flats that are let commercially or any airplanes, trucks, cars, buses, trains or any other vehicle requiring to be so cleaned."
